Description
The original latches of the Accord instrument cases can be replaced by yourself without any problems. You only have to loosen the insulation inside the case, remove the old latches with a drill and fix the new latches to the case with the supplied rivets. Then bend the new latch slightly towards the instrument case and glue the insulation back on.
required tools:
- a drill or cordless screwdriver with a metal drill bit 3.2 mm
- a hand riveter
Replacing the lock counterparts is not necessary in most cases.
